MiniDuo Beads are a Pressed Glass, Two Hole Seed bead, made in the Czech Republic. MiniDuos measure 2x4mm with two 0.8mm holes (A Mini-Sized Super Duo). They are not simply "coated crystal" but actual colored glass.
